Terms of Service & Community Guidelines

These terms govern your use of the SceneSpot website and mobile apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms, our Community Guidelines below, and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Band, venue and business profiles may only be created by the owner or an authorized representative. You confirm that authority when you create one.

SceneSpot has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or accounts that break these rules are removed.

Don't post, upload, or send anything that:

• Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone, or encourages others to
• Attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or any sexual content involving minors
• Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
• Promotes illegal activity, including the sale of drugs or weapons
• Is spam, a scam, or misleading - including fake events, fake check-ins, or fake reviews
• Impersonates a person, band, business, or brand, or uses a name you don't have the right to use
• Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Shares someone else's private information without their permission

You can report any profile, post, comment, or photo from the report option on it, and block or mute any profile from its page. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours, including removing the content and suspending or banning the account that posted it.

Uploaded photos go through automated and, where flagged, human moderation before others can see them.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

You own what you post. By posting it, you give SceneSpot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the Service. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you post.

Well-known brands, artists, and SceneSpot's own name are reserved and can't be used for new profiles. If you own or officially represent one of these names, or believe someone is using your trademark or copyrighted work, email legal@scenespot.com and we'll verify you and act on it.

Paid business plans are purchased on the SceneSpot website and processed by Stripe. Plan pricing, renewal, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout.

SceneSpot helps you find real places, events, and people. We don't run those venues or events and aren't responsible for them or for anyone you meet. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and follow venue rules and local laws.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SceneSpot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or content posted by others.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the app or on the website.

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we'll update the date above; continuing to use the Service means you accept them.
